Note: Toyota OEM is Advics and RockAuto does carry them from time to time. Rear pads from the dealer are about $40 and the rear rotors are $50 a piece. It seriously isn't worth machining rotors these days (that's also because we are an hour away from the nearest place that can machine rotors which means too much down time). As long as the brakes don't pull to that side, I say roll with it. Something was probably sitting on the top edge of the pad, and when you backed up, it went between the pad and rotor. You can also tell there isn't much contact between the brake pad and the rotor. And from what I'm seeing, there IS a lot of rust there. This isn't going to be much braking power there.
